F4CP Reaches New Level of Success

Following distribution of our latest press release entitled, "Foundation for Chiropractic Progress Presents at National Association of Worksite Health Centers' Third Annual Forum," the quote from Larry Boress extolling the participation of the F4CP at the annual meeting of The National Association of Worksite Health Centers was highlighted on a LinkedIn "Connections in the News" email.

"In the new era of health care reform, employers are looking for solutions to maximize value and productivity among employees, and we are honored to have the F4CP share the merit of chiropractic care with our audience," says Larry Boress, executive director, NAWHC, an affiliate of the Midwest Business Group on Health.

LinkedIn is a leading social media outlet with an estimated 255 million monthly users, and the email was delivered to the multitude of Boress' connections. Boress is the executive director of the NAWHC, as well as president and CEO of Midwest Business Group on Health.

Many of the people who received this email are well-known and respected leaders in the employer space, making this a particularly exciting achievement as we seek to create more opportunities for chiropractic in on-site health clinics and employer-sponsored healthcare. A share of this magnitude lends more credibility to our campaign and creates fresh awareness in the minds of these powerful employers!

F4CP Makes Waves in the Media

Recently, F4CP Executive Vice President, Sherry McAllister, DC, had the opportunity to speak with two prominent media outlets, Yahoo Vida y Estilo (Yahoo Life & Style) and Family Circle, to raise awareness about the benefits of chiropractic care.

The article also featured posture improvement tips from Derek Ochiai, hip arthroscopic surgeon and expert in orthopedic sports medicine, helping to bridge the gap between medical doctors and doctors of chiropractic. The article entitled: "Fledged: 4 Exercises to Improve Posture," can be read here.
  • Family Circle: The article in Family Circle will highlight steps that experts take to prevent back problems from happening and how they manage back problems when they occur. Additionally, Dr. McAllister will address common sources of back pain in women ages 35 to 50. The article is currently in production and will be featured in an upcoming F4CP e-newsletter, as well as on all F4CP social media platforms in the future. Prescription Drugs Dominate 2016 Presidential Debates

According to a recent article published by The Wall Street Journal, participants in the October WMUR Granite State Poll in New Hampshire ranked drug abuse as the most important issue in the 2016 presidential campaign – trumping job and economic matters for the first time in eight years.

As issues surrounding overprescribing and abuse begin to dominate the conversations of presidential candidates, experts at the F4CP communicate the need for evidence-based, drug-free options, including chiropractic care, to serve as a primary approach to pain relief.

This month, the F4CP spotlights Dr. Robert Gear for his sincere passion and dedication to the F4CP and chiropractic profession.

Dr. Gear has been in practice for over 51 years, with two operating clinics in Phoenix and Payson, AZ.

As a gold-level sponsor contributing $100 per month to the F4CP, Dr. Gear has greatly influenced the organization’s ability to generate positive press resources -- including press releases, advertisements, print advertorials, television/radio public service announcements and sponsored research -- and further inform the public about the benefits of chiropractic care.

For more information on Dr. Bob Gear, visit www.drbobgear.com.

MK"Thank you for recognizing the efforts of hundreds, if not thousands, of doctors of chiropractic nationwide. In my opinion, doctors of chiropractic who realign the body's osseous structure, especially the spine, are practicing scientific medicine as non-invasive chiropractic surgeons. DC's are representative of the medical school of the future, where they can diagnose and perform according to Hippocrates, who admonished us to look first to the spine for the cause of disease. Modern day doctors of chiropractic are the natural evolution of the founder of chiropractic's vision." – Dr. Gear
