F4CP Initiates New Student Pledge Offer - $25

In an effort to better attract and reward monthly contributors, the F4CP has implemented new and improved levels of membership and related benefits. To view membership updates, please visit: www.f4cp.com.

Additionally, you will note the introduction of a BRAND-NEW student pledge opportunity, which allows chiropractic students the opportunity to pledge a one-time membership fee of $25 during their academic careers. They do now and every student should be excited and supportive of the potential of this campaign!

A student membership will include the following benefits:

  • Eligible to become an F4CP emissary
  • Eligible to receive the monthly F4CP newsletter and exclusive news updates
  • Name listed alphabetically under the contributor tab at the website

Later this month, F4CP Representative, Dr. Sherry McAllister, will formally introduce the new student membership to the academic population at Palmer College of Chiropractic (PCC) - West Campus in San Jose, CA.

Additionally, Dr. McAllister is scheduled to visit the remaining two PCC campuses in Davenport, IA and Port Orange, FL later this summer – stay tuned for details! Students who want to get more involved can contact the student F4CP chair Annabelle Mac Auley at naturalhealingbyhand@gmail.com.

Group Member Spotlight of the Month: Alaska Chiropractic Society

Much of the F4CP's success can be attributed to its Group Members.

This month, the F4CP recognizes the Alaska Chiropractic Society for its recent enrollment in Group Membership and outstanding support. To date, the Alaska Chiropractic Society has contributed $6,845 to the organization.

The F4CP is extremely grateful for the continued loyalty of the Alaska Chiropractic Society. It is because of our valuable contributors, such as the Alaska Chiropractic Society, that the F4CP can continue to fulfill its important mission.

The F4CP is actively pursuing groups within the chiropractic profession to enroll in Group Membership. Depending on a group’s level of support, there are an array of benefits offered to both the contributing group and its doctor members. Below is a current list of groups that have approved enrollment in Group Membership and are in various stages of implementation:

  • Alaska Chiropractic Society
  • Chiropractic Society of Rhode Island
  • Florida Chiropractic Association
  • Kansas Chiropractic Association
  • New York State Chiropractic Association
  • North Dakota Chiropractic Association
  • Ohio State Chiropractic Association
  • Chiropractic Association of Louisiana
  • Kentucky Association of Chiropractors
  • Maryland Chiropractic Association
  • South Dakota Chiropractors Association
  • Wyoming Chiropractic Association
  • ChiroHealth
  • ChiroTouch

The F4CP encourages individuals, doctors and associations to support organizations that support the profession. To view a list of current F4CP vendor supporters, visit: www.f4cp.com/contributors/.

Employer Outreach Update

The F4CP has had much success with its employer sector, and in an effort to continue to advance the knowledge of employers and top healthcare professionals about chiropractic, the organization attends a number of employer events each year.

Last month, the F4CP sponsored William Updyke, DC, as a speaker at the 2015 IHC FORUM & Expo, June 23-25, 2015, in Atlanta, Ga.

Dr. Updyke, alongside Larry Boress, executive director, National Association of Worksite Health Centers, and James Sheeran, benefits director, MillerCoors, addressed the significant value that chiropractic has brought to on-site corporate health clinics nationwide.

Employers are crediting access to chiropractic care and communication among providers for the decrease in hospital costs, reduced use of opioid painkillers and high patient satisfaction scores.

As a growing number of corporate on-site clinics launch, the F4CP anticipates a significant incremental climb in the number of employers opting to include chiropractic care.

For additional information about the value of chiropractic care within on-site corporate health clinics, download the latest F4CP white paper entitled: The Growing Role of Doctors of Chiropractic in On-Site Corporate Health Clinics, here.

Is Your Vendor a Supporter?

While the F4CP does a great job in stretching the dollars it receives for public relations, it is a known fact that with added support more can be accomplished. The F4CP relies on doctors in the field, along with vendors, state associations and colleges, to support and fuel its successful, positive press campaign.

Is your vendor, state association and/or college standing up in support of chiropractic and the F4CP campaign? Presently, there are several within each category that support the F4CP, but not all. Review the list of F4CP progress partners HERE, and be sure to click vendor logos to visit individual websites. If you are involved with any of the listed partners, send them a note of thanks. If you notice certain groups that are not included on the list, send them a note of encouragement. If you need additional information to send to a particular group, contact Marta Cerdan at Marta@foundation4cp.com.
