Positive Chiropractic Press

Over the years, a number of professional athletes have, and continue to, speak positively on behalf of the chiropractic profession.

In May, Masters Tournament winner, 21-year-old Jordan Spieth, recognized those who significantly contributed to his impressive victory, including his doctor of chiropractic (DC), Troy Van Biezen. Shortly after, Spieth continued to demonstrate his good health and impressive athletic performance when he went on to win the U.S. Open! Currently, Jordan Spieth is the number one ranked golfer in the world!

Additionally, professional golfer, Zack Johnson, son of David Johnson, DC, was named champion at the 2015 British Open last month, and similar to Spieth, Johnson openly credits chiropractic care for his optimal health and peak athletic performance.

With growing evidence on the dangers of short and long-term pain medication, the chiropractic profession is the largest health provider group offering non-pharmaceutical care with a record of cost savings and high patient satisfaction scores.

To help raise public awareness of the profession, Zach Johnson and Jordan Spieth have both individually agreed to participate in the F4CP’s targeted ad campaign, "Champions of Chiropractic," which showcases high-profile celebrities and their DCs endorsing chiropractic care. A new full-size color poster with Jordan Spieth is in the final stages of production, and our doctors will want to have it for their clinics and for social media. Stay tuned for details!

For additional details on Zach Johnson’s reliance on chiropractic care, please read the national F4CP press release here. Johnson has personally shared this release with his 263, 000+ Twitter followers.

F4CP Responds to Nationwide Surge in Opioid/Heroin Use

In response to a recent report published online by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), F4CP experts advise the public to carefully analyze their use of prescription and over-the-counter medications, and opt for evidence-based, drug-free approaches such as chiropractic care as a primary approach to pain relief.

The report spotlights the surge in heroin use and overdose-related deaths in the U.S., and documents opioid painkiller dependency as the strongest risk factor for heroin use and/or dependence.

It is imperative that the public explore safer, drug-free alternatives, including chiropractic care, for pain management.

For additional information about the benefits of chiropractic care as a primary treatment option, read the national press release here.

New Advertorial: "Chiropractors Offer Advice to Those with Diabetes"

Each month, the F4CP produces new advertorials that aim to educate the public about the many benefits of chiropractic care. These advertorials are featured in prominent publications nationwide.

The F4CP's most recent advertorial, about how chiropractors can help those with diabetes maintain optimal health and wellness, can be seen below.

Vendor Spotlight of the Month: NCMIC

Much of the F4CP's success can be attributed to its contributors. This month, we recognize NCMIC for its outstanding support. NCMIC is one of the original contributors to the F4CP.

Established in 1946 by doctors of chiropractic, NCMIC has since become the nation's leading provider of chiropractic malpractice insurance for doctors of chiropractic.

The organization's continued loyalty to the F4CP is a direct reflection of their powerful slogan, "We Take Care of Our Own®."

It is because of our valuable contributors, such as NCMIC, that the F4CP can continue to fulfill its important mission, and we are extremely grateful for the ongoing support.

Additionally, the F4CP is actively pursuing groups within the chiropractic profession to enroll in Group Membership. Depending on a group's level of support, there are an array of benefits offered to both the contributing group and its doctor members. Below is a current list of groups that have approved enrollment in Group Membership and are in various stages of implementation:

  • Alaska Chiropractic Society
  • Chiropractic Society of Rhode Island
  • Florida Chiropractic Association
  • Kansas Chiropractic Association
  • New York State Chiropractic Association

  • Ohio State Chiropractic Association
  • Chiropractic Association of Louisiana
  • Kentucky Association of Chiropractors
