NFL Great Jerry Rice and Athletic TIPS™ at Same Event

Don't miss the special opportunity to be photographed with NFL great, Jerry Rice, and attend the first Athletic TIPS™ certification seminar open to the entire chiropractic profession.

The seminar, held in conjunction with Palmer College West's Homecoming (May 2-4, 2014), is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2014, between 7:30-5:30 PM at Palmer campus in San Jose, CA. The eight-hour seminar will lead to certification, enabling doctors to serve as Athletic TIPS™ instructors that educate community members about key areas of concern related to athletics.

Below is a testimonial from an attendee of the inaugural seminar in Las Vegas:

"As a TIPS certified chiropractor, I now have more tools and current best practices to enhance prevention and safety in our young athletes. It is not a question of "if" you should be certified it is "when". Be the chiropractor everyone trusts in the community because you care about preventing injuries and promoting safety!"

Focus Groups Provide Input and Implementation Begins

The F4CP conducted its fourth focus group within four months as it continues to refine its ad messaging to encourage more consumers to consider and seek chiropractic care. Each of the focus groups, which were held at the Dynamic Chiropractic office in California and CPR office in New Jersey, included a cross section of the public with emphasis on those with little or no chiropractic experience.

Leaders attending the last two Chiropractic Summits and marketing professionals employed by several vendors that support the F4CP have also reviewed the ads presented to the focus groups.

As the year progresses, the F4CP will continue to conduct focus groups as one of the ways to determine the effectiveness of its ads. The F4CP will also launch a membership directory that lists all of the names of monthly contributors. A link to the new directory will be included in future F4CP ads, helping to further measure the effectiveness of all ads.

NEW Advertisements, Public Service Announcements, Press Releases and Advertorials

Reflecting the input received from various sources, the F4CP has recently produced a number of new press materials. Please click on the following items to review.

In response to the new pregnancy ad, F4CP board member, Dr. Mike Flynn, comments:

"This is another powerful ad and soon-to-be campaign, which will include a press release, advertorial and public service announcement. This long-term study of over 64,000 children and mothers is dramatic, and you have to love the specialist calling for finding non-pharmacological ways to deal with pain. That the most commonly used medication for pain during pregnancy, acetaminophen, is a hormone disruptor, crosses the placenta barrier and may interrupt fetal brain development (neurotoxicity) is an alarm bell. Too many children are being diagnosed with ADHD and put on medication. Reports about this study are all over the Internet from the various print and wire services that covered it. The same day this study was released, I had a 15-year-old, pregnant with twins, who was in her second trimester, taking six Tylenol a day for headaches on the recommendation of her OBGYN. I copied the study and gave it to her mother who will be raising her daughter and soon grandchildren. The expectant mother immediately came off the Tylenol, loves her adjustments and is feeling much better. How many times is this being duplicate across the country...not enough...3and that is why this ad campaign is so important."

Social Syndication Supported by National Board Distributed

The social syndication supported by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, which encouraged enrollment in chiropractic colleges, has been distributed to numerous social media outlets nationwide. Utilizing NewsUSA, a premier source for news content and copyright-free media placements, the F4CP is guaranteed between 90-140 placements per each distributed social syndication. Outlets included on the distribution list are Pinterest, Flickr, StumpleUpon, Reddit, Twitter, Diggit, FriendFeed, and De.icio.us, as well as dozens of blogger sites. This same service guarantees a minimum of 1,000 placements (print and online) for all distributed advertorials.

The F4CP will receive a complete coverage report from NewsUSA within the next few months.

Social Media Impacts Chiropractic Exposure

The utilization of social media has had a profound effect on the ability of the F4CP to deliver positive press to the public. Beginning in 2011, the F4CP began to allocate additional funds toward social media activities. This had an almost immediate impact on the number of positive impressions tracked -- increasing from 3.5 billion in 2011, to 31 billion in 2012. The chart below displays tracked impressions since 2009. The F4CP is working with an organization, which will simplify posting to social media for all F4CP contributors. Stay tuned.

National Publications Promote F4CP

Throughout the years, Chiropractic Economics and Dynamic Chiropractic have strongly supported the F4CP -- not just financially, but also through in-kind contributions (free ads and media coverage). The recent editorials in Chiropractic Economics and Dynamic Chiropractic are illustrative of that support. Please read the articles below.

Dynamic Chiropractic"Seven Years of Hard Work"

Chiropractic Economics "Answer the Call"

State Associations Step up Support

The Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association continues to strongly support the F4CP, as its board of directors recently approved another $10,000 contribution. Dr. Daryl Wills, F4CP emissary and well-known leader, presented the F4CP with the association’s support.
