F4CP Launches Search:  Spokespersons for New Opioid Abuse Campaign

Save Lives. Stop Opioid Abuse. Choose Chiropractic.’ #StopOpioidAbuse

Who:        Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP)

What:       The F4CP is looking for spokespersons to represent its nationwide campaign: ‘Save Lives. Stop Opioid Abuse. Choose Chiropractic.’ If you or someone you know has suffered from opioid addiction and has been able to reach sobriety and alleviate pain through chiropractic care, please submit a two-minute video detailing how the care provided by a doctor of chiropractic (DC) has helped to overcome opioid addiction. The first ten individuals to submit a video will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.

Where:     The video can be produced on a smart phone or tablet and submitted via email to F4CP Marketing Director Alexis Lignos at alexis@f4cp.com.

When:      Responses must be submitted prior to January 31, 2017.

Why:        The F4CP’s goal is educational and supportive of consumers who are struggling with chronic pain: conservative, drug-free care, specifically chiropractic, is a primary option for pain management yielding improved clinical outcomes, reduced costs and high levels of patient satisfaction.

The need for modified pain management in the U.S. has become increasingly clear, as 78 Americans continue to die each day as a result of an opioid overdose,” shares Sherry McAllister, DC, executive vice president, F4CP. “The public deserves to be educated about safe and effective, drug-free options, including chiropractic, as an alternative to prescription opioids for pain relief. I urge you to share your story and help save the thousands of lives that fall victim to overdose-related deaths each year.”
