FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Foundation for Chiropractic Progress to Participate at 2016 IHC FORUM West

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – October 24, 2016 – The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), the leading voice of the chiropractic profession, will sponsor Kale Ptacek, DC, chief executive officer and on-site corporate chiropractor, Motiva Health & Chiropractic, and Matthew McCormack, DC, president and chief medical officer, Motiva Health & Chiropractic, as speakers at the 2016 Institute for HealthCare Consumerism FORUM West (IHC FORUM West), November 9-10, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The F4CP will support the workshop, “The Integrative Care Model – A Modern Approach to Musculoskeletal Care,” November 10, 2016, 10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., and host a discussion about the benefits of an integrative approach – which includes chiropractic services – to musculoskeletal conditions.

Integrative care positions providers to care for the conditions that they are most effective at treating,” share Drs. Ptacek and McCormack in a joint statement, noting that doctors of chiropractic (DCs) specialize in the management of musculoskeletal disorders. “In the midst of an era prone to the misuse, abuse and overprescribing of prescription drugs for pain relief, chiropractic care offers a safe and effective, drug-free alternative.”

With musculoskeletal conditions ranking as a leading cause of disability, lost productivity and missed workdays among employees, chiropractic care provides employers with a clinically and cost-effective model to improve workers’ overall health. In comparison to medical care, chiropractic services are proven to yield improved clinical outcomes, greater patient satisfaction and cost savings upward of 40 percent.

F4CP Executive Vice President, Sherry McAllister, DC, states, “We are pleased to have Drs. Ptacek and McCormack present a discussion about integrative care models to IHC’s primarily employer-based audience. The concept of multidisciplinary providers working together to determine appropriate care plans helps to ensure that patients receive the high-quality, cost-effective care that they deserve.”

The IHC FORUM West is the only conference series that is 100 percent dedicated to health care consumerism. To learn more, visit: http://theihccforum.com/16vegas/.
